SharePoint Sites Audit report example

Example report with sample data.

What it finds

  • Sites open to “Anyone” links and anonymous access
  • Sites and OneDrives with many external users, or sharing looser than your tenant baseline
  • Inactive sites and sites without a real admin
  • Sites, groups and teams missing a sensitivity label, including groups with guests
  • A SharePoint posture score, with drill-down by finding or by site

Why it matters

The SharePoint admin center shows totals, like 4,000 sites and 18,000 external shares, but not which sites are the risk. This tool finds them.

How it works

  1. 01Get the toolLeave your details and we email you the download link. Review the script before you run it.
  2. 02Run itOpen PowerShell 7 and run SPO-Manager.ps1. Sign in with an admin account when asked.
  3. 03Open the reportA single HTML file with your posture score and every finding, grouped by problem or by site.
  4. 04Fix what mattersStart with the highest-risk items. Need help? Book a call with our team.

Requirements

  • PowerShell 7 (Windows, macOS or Linux)
  • PnP.PowerShell and Microsoft Graph modules (install automatically)
  • Global Administrator once for setup, then SharePoint Administrator

What it can touch

On first run it registers its own app in your tenant with a certificate kept on your machine, so later runs need no sign-in. It reads site settings and changes nothing.
